The exam is comprised of 160 questions. A hyperlink is provided to access the detailed BOK outline. At least one question is on the test for each outline item. One third of the test includes basic knowledge questions which are used to measure the results from exam session (known as 'equator questions')

ASQ has recently improved in providing results in a timely manner.  You should know whether you passed or failed in approximately 45 days after taking the exam.  This timeframe may be extended if there are problems with particular questions on the exam, and ASQ decided to 'throw them out.'

Big envelope equals pass.  Small envelope equals retake.  An example of the latter is provided courtesy of myself!
