Internal Auditor Training
This course introduces the auditing function and registration process to the novice and experienced internal auditor. An understanding of the process internal auditor training approach is gained through the identification of your company's own process and development of an audit matrix for each process.Using the audit matrix, a checklist is developed using your company's own processes. A mock process audit is conducted together and then as internal audit teams on-site. For the experienced auditor, expert knowledge is gained on how to take effective samples and use internal auditor training techniques, such as trace forward and trace back.
Audit results of each internal auditor training team is presented in class, identifying audit trails to be followed-up and nonconformances found. Auditors are taught how to write audit nonconformances.
The internal auditor training class can be coupled with an introduction to ISO 9001:2008 training course. Auditors that have a basic understanding of the requirements can conduct more effective internal audits. Class size: 3-day course is conducted with 8-15 people.
